PRINCIPAL CLARINET

The Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra is inviting applications for the position of Principal Clarinet

.

As Principal Clarinet, you will play a central role in defining the colour and character of the wind section, working closely with fellow principals and the conductor to bring some of the greatest works in the orchestral repertoire to life. If you are an exceptional clarinetist ready to take on a principal role in a thriving and ambitious orchestra, we would be delighted to hear from you.

TRUMPET

We are looking for a talented trumpet player sit in one of the country's best amateur (are highly renowned) brass sections. The position in the section is negotiable. We rehearse every Sunday in the wonderful concert hall at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (no cold churches or boomy school halls). The rep is varied and challenging while the atmosphere is both friendly and supportive.

TUTTI STRINGS

Whilst we have a full compliment of string players, if you are interested in joining our ranks we would love to hear from you.
