  • What inspired you to take up your instrument?

    My Year 2 primary school teacher recommended that I start learning to play a musical instrument having joined various choirs. I started with the piano before falling in love with the violin!! 

  • How did you come to join the orchestra?

    I had known of the fantastic reputation of the orchestra. A colleague at work had played with the BPO prior to me joining and suggested that I  apply. I auditioned and the rest is history! 

  • Most treasured occasion with the BPO?

    It is still early days but the Showtime concert was fantastic. I also really enjoyed playing ‘The Creation’ at Leominster Priory. 

  • Any moments you would rather forget?

    Not yet thankfully.


  • Favourite composer? Least favourite composer?

    Favourite composers- Beethoven,, J.S. Bach, Shostakovich and John Williams.


    Least favourite- Stravinsky
