  • What inspired you to take up your instrument?

    As a young person, the fabulous sound of the French horns on countless movie soundtracks


  • How did you come to join the orchestra?

    I have been a ‘dep’, or ‘extra’ player with the orchestra since 2009


  • Most treasured occasion with the BPO?

    Too many to list, but have particularly enjoyed playing the music of Strauss, Mahler & Bruckner, all of which have some fantastic moments for the horn section.

  • Any moments you would rather forget?

    Not so far…!

  • Favourite composer? Least favourite composer?

    I’m not sure I have a favourite, or least favourite composer!
