  • How long have you been a member of BPO?

    Since 1995

  • What inspired you to take up your instrument?

    I was given the opportunity at Primary School to either play the violin or cello. Chose the violin due to it being a smaller & more manageable instrument to transport!

  • How did you come to join the orchestra?

    I left Youth orchestra & was seeking a reputable orchestra to join. My teacher recommended BPO!


  • Most treasured occasion with the BPO?

    I think it’s got to be playing the Snowman at Christmas with it being narrated & my son at a young age sitting in the audience following his picture book as we played the soundtrack to the film! He was probably about 6 at the time & is now a fantastic pianist studying Music at University.

  • Any moments you would rather forget?

    Not at all!


  • Favourite composer? Least favourite composer?

    John Williams for sure which comes for my love of film & musical theatre. I can’t see that I have a least favourite just treat them as a challenge & persevere!

  • Work(s) you would like to play before you die?

    My daughter is a Harry Potter fan & I know it would be ticked off my bucket list if we could do the sound track to one of the films to the movie whilst it’s playing!
